Hi everyone,

we have just been informed that the Open Streets Ciclovia has now been postponed until SUN 29TH SEPTEMBER, due to anticipated weather conditions this weekend.

(not 15th as per previous email)

Calling Monsieur, Madam and Mademoiselle Frockers!
We have the finalised details for this Sunday’s fashion parade:
We rendezvous at the Colombo/Gloucester boulevards  at 12.30pm , with the parade starting at 1pm.
The categories are:
The CHALKY DIGITS Best Dressed Woman
The EARTH SEA SKY Best Dressed Man
The GROUND EFFECT Best Lycra/Flouro Cyclist
But wait, there’s more…we have fantastic prizes from Chalky Digits, Earth Sea Sky and Ground Effect…  for 1st, 2nd, 3rd  + spot prizes. The judges are 2 cyclo- savvy, les femmes fatale Kaila Colbin from The Ministry of Awesome, and Coralie Winn from Gap Filler.
The competition is open to everyone, not just Frocks on Bikes . While I’m keen for us to have a French theme (did you notice?!), really anything goes!
Even if you can’t make it for the parade, there will be heaps happening throughout the day. For more information than you can throw a baguette at, go to:

  1. Awesome. Also, we need to ‘test’ out the dutch intersection…round and round and round and round we all should go!!!

  2. Hi Meg and Connie I was looking forward to participate in the Open Streets Cilcovia in Christchurch tomorrow and now we were being told it won’t be on until the 29th September due to anticipated weather conditions. You two know who can blame it on Mother Nature. Still I will turn up regardless of the anticipated weather conditions.
