April’s Frocks on Bikes ride

St. Albans park to Redwood Springs ride: Sunday 19 April, 1pm.
Autumn is awesome cycling season- not too hot, not too cold so do join us for our April ride on Sunday 19th!
We meet at St. Albans park on Barbados St – opposite Ris’tretto cafe – at 12.45pm for a 1pm departure.
No dress theme, just come in suitable clothes for the weather and your mood. Menfolk: the same applies for you 😉
This 13 km ride will take us from St Albans Park, through relatively quiet residential roads and parks, along cycle paths and even go under a walking/cycling underpass. At Redwood Springs we’ll have a break and a snack (we may have a sneaky but healthy treat provided) before we head back to St. Albans and COFFEE at Ristretto Cafe near where we started from.

Bus routes 44 and 100 go past St. Albans park if you are arriving or returning by bus with your bike. For more info on busses check Metroinfo: http://metroinfo.co.nz/journeyplanner/index.html?region=christchurch#/journey_plans/new
Please contact Connie on 021 0277 9250 or connievince@hotmail.com with any queries about this ride. If the weather is decidedly nasty on the day this event will not go ahead.
Hope to see you and any frocking friends you can muster for an enjoyable afternoon of cycling on Sunday 19 April 😉

Meg and Connie

PS: keep the evening of June 21 free- for the Winter Solstice ride!
