Week 4 of Biketober- An e-bike ride to Lincoln and Tai Tapu, and Biketober prize giving

Already we’re into week 4 of Biketober! This week there are almost 20 more rides and events on offer. I have not advertised a ride at the Adventure Park (CAP) tonight because it is already booked out. However, if there is interest from Frocks members, we can re-run this. Basically the aim of tonight’s session is to show confident mountain bikers the ropes at CAP – how to get a lift pass, how to access the lift and put your bike on the lift, and which is the easiest, least scary descent for newbies! Anouk showed me and now I’m sharing the love J . So let me know if you think this could be a Frocks ride -although probably without the 70% subsidy on your lift pass that Biketober is offering tonight’s lucky riders.

I made a typo on the newsletter Mary-Ann sent out last week- this week’s feature ride as well as the grand prize giving event at the Art Center are both on Saturday 27. If you want to go to both events there should be plenty of time for you to get there.

See you somewhere!

Meg
