Bring your own style to a back-street cycle chic fashion parade. Registration at 6pm, Watch ’em roll at 6.30pm. Edward St courtyard, outside Meow. Great prizes to be won! (NB: no dressups, it’s everyday chic)
Need for Tweed Ride (Wellingtons first Tweed Ride!) – Saturday 8th November
From Shorland Park Island Bay to Little Beer Quarter, CBD.
Meeting at 1pm, stopping at Queen Sally’s for tea and scones and arriving at LBQ around 4.30pm. More destinations TBC.
The idea is to get dressed up to the 9s in traditional cycling attire to salute a bygone era – a high spirited celebration of the humble bicycle and its long enduring history. Riders then take their bicycles on a tour of Wellington.
Over $1000 worth of prizes to be won!!

Auckland NZ’s homage to the international anachronistic Tweed Run phenomena of dressing up in old fashioned clothes and riding a bicycle.
It’s free and all are welcome- just find some tweed, bring a picnic and come on a bike!
T. Whites Bikes to Highwic House- Sunday 7th April 2013.
12pm onwards, meeting at T.Whites Everyday Bikes, 132 Symonds St.
This time round we are collaborating with Highwic House by riding our bikes to their Art Deco Day Out picnic.
It is up to attendees to bring their own helmets and safety gear and be responsible for themselves in the traffic.

Frocks on Bikes are invited to join the Tweed Run in celebration of the 3rd anniversary of the 40km speed limit on Ponsonby Road.Now on the 23rd
On Sunday 16th
, starting at 11am with a champagne brunch at T Whites Everyday Bikes (The 2nd Hand Bike Shop) 132 Symonds Street.
The ride will take a leisurely route through Grey Lynn/ Ponsonby area with a stop for coffee in Ponsonby, then returning to the bike shop for a prize giving for best dressed and best bike.
