CYCLECOLOMBO & STREET ART
On Sunday morning 18th May 2014 from 9am onwards there will be a random collection of people riding bikes up and down Colombo Street. Any part, north or south, at no set time. It’s a brainwave from Spokes, and of course Frocks on Bikes will go along for the ride!
However, we offer a more structured programme, lead by Fi. We’ll meet outside Underground at The Colombo, 363 Colombo Street, Sydenham. Our ride starts at 10.30 sharp so if you need your pre-ride caffeine make sure you’re early!
We’ll ride north, deviating off Colombo Street at times to view The amazing “Rise” Street Art, stopping for lunch/brunch at C4 in Tuam Street. From there, you can choose to join a ride to the very south end of Colombo, to Elevate, head north, or go whereever you need to be on a Sunday afternoon! Being an Art event, why not wear your most creative and artistic attire?
You can find a map at http://static.stuff.co.nz/files/Streetartmap and the key at http://static.stuff.co.nz/files/streetartkey
On a different note, if you are keen to ride on the various mtb trails around the counrty, please get in touch. There is a little interest in having social trips away with like minded older (40 plus) women. Not hard core, but not too easy-paced. Tolerant, uncompetitive and house trained males may apply, but priority to the ladies!

Meg, Connie and Fi
